Police determined that a 22-year-old resident of Lviv, driving a “Mercedes-Benz,” failed to consider the difficult weather conditions and the state of the road surface. As a result, he veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with a “MAN” van driven by a 50-year-old resident of Rivne.
As a result of the accident, the van driver was hospitalized with fractures of the shin and thigh. The driver of the van received medical assistance at the scene and was released.
The investigator has already initiated a pre-trial investigation to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
