The Security Service of Ukraine has reported the in absentia sentencing of two individuals who voluntarily sided with the aggressor state.

According to the court’s ruling, a 58-year-old woman, a native of the city of Armyansk, was sentenced to 14 years in prison. It was established that she began collaborating with the occupying authorities in 2014, taking a leadership position in the illegally established “administration of the city of Armyansk, Republic of Crimea.”
The court found her guilty of committing a crime under part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason).
Another traitor, a 37-year-old man from the city of Sievierodonetsk, received a 15-year prison sentence. In September 2023, he participated in the sham elections as a candidate from the “United Russia” party and was “elected” to the so-called “council of the Sievierodonetsk municipal district of the LPR,” where he actively promotes Putin’s party.
By the ruling of the Rivne City Court, he was found guilty under the following articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- part 2 of Article 111 (treason committed under martial law);
- part 5 of Article 111-1 (voluntary assumption of a position in illegal authorities established in temporarily occupied territory).
