The train to Vienna includes a coordinated transfer in Chop to train No. 749/750 Uzhhorod — Kyiv. The launch of this service, scheduled for December, is the result of months of collaborative work between Ukrzaliznytsia and its partners: Hungarian MÁV and Austrian ÖBB.
According to the new schedule, Ukrzaliznytsia has reduced the travel time for direct cars Kyiv — Vienna by over two hours and has agreed with the Hungarian railway to increase the number of seats by +25% for train No. 143/146 Uzhhorod — Vienna.
Overall, in the 2025/2026 schedule, the offer in international connections through Chop station, including the Euro-gauge hubs in Uzhhorod and Mukachevo, has increased by over 1000 seats per day.
