The post, published on September 11, was later deleted. According to journalists, Husak noted that he had been searching for ways to leave for Europe for about a month, despite being an active serviceman. He reported that he found a “above-average offer” for 10 thousand dollars.
“I was comfortably transported by boat across the Tisza. Then they showed me where the hole in the state border was, gave me a clear time for passage, and wished me a good life. Once in Hungary, there was another unexpected bonus when, after completing all the necessary documents, a van with Transcarpathian plates arrived and took me to Budapest for an additional 50 euros,” Husak noted.
Valeriy Husak also explained his reasons for leaving, claiming that he does not believe in the fight for independence. He believes that the war has become “big business for very big uncles.” According to him, he tried to enter the upper class of society, as he thinks that after the war, Ukraine will be divided into those who fought and those who did not, with the former having significant advantages.
“It is no secret that after the war, Ukraine will be divided into those who fought and those who did not. The former will have many advantages, especially in not adhering to the laws and will totally parasitize on those who did not fight,” Husak explained.
Currently, Husak resides in Warsaw, which he also reported on his Facebook page.
It is worth noting that Valeriy Husak is a Rivne businessman, founder of the private enterprise ‘Domova Sluzhba’, which operates in Rivne, Ternopil, Lutsk, and Lviv. In 2020, he ran for the Rivne City Council from ‘European Solidarity’, but was not elected.
