Watching the match from the stands, the head coach of the national team of Ukraine, Serhiy Rebrov, witnessed an intense game between Dynamo and Veres. Both teams showcased active football, leading to a significant number of chances.
At the beginning of the match, Veres had a great opportunity to open the scoring. Vladyslav Sharai made a cross from the right flank, but Dmytro Hodia failed to hit the target.
Dynamo quickly responded, and soon danger began to arise near Veres’s goal. In the 22nd minute, Oleksandr Pikhaliyonok delivered a diagonal pass, and Mykola Shaparenko scored into an empty net without any interference.
Fifteen minutes later, Dynamo doubled their lead. Taras Mykhavko headed the ball to Mykola Shaparenko, who again found the net, scoring from almost a meter away.
However, Veres quickly equalized. Ihor Kharatin converted a penalty after a foul by Kostyantyn Vivcharenko on Vladyslav Sharai.
Just six minutes later, Veres leveled the score: a defensive error by Dynamo allowed Vladyslav Sharai to shoot into the bottom left corner of the goal.
After the break, Dynamo took the lead again thanks to a powerful shot from Volodymyr Brazhko from 20 meters, the ball hit the crossbar and then went into the net.
Despite the chances created, no more goals were scored in the match. This marked Veres’s third defeat in their training camp in Turkey. The next friendly match for the Rivne team will be against another UPL club – Kudrivka.
