Veres U19 – LNZ U19 – 2:2 (0:0)
Veres U19 lineup: Kharechko – Gazazyan, Sanotsky, Hrabovenko (M. Pylipey, 88), Boychuk, Yevchev (Malyuta, 67), Mihutsky (Vydrych, 88), Antoniuk, Matkivsky (Khalilov, 71), Saichishin, Murashko. Substitutes: Zimin, I. Kondratiev, Domantovych, Oroskevych, Oksenko, Wally.
Head Coach: Stanislav Upilkov.
Goals: Matkivsky (42), Kharechko (87, penalty) – Lepkyi (62, 68).
Stanislav Upilkov’s team opened the scoring before halftime. Ihor Boychuk noticed Vladyslav Saichishin’s run on the left flank, after which he delivered an accurate pass to Dmytro Matkivsky, who scored the first goal – 1:0.
In the second half, the guests tried to change the course of the match. Artur Mukha distracted the defenders of Rivne, allowing Orest Lepkyi, a former Veres player, to find a comfortable position and take his chance, equalizing the score – 1:1. Later, Lepkyi scored again, putting LNZ ahead – 1:2.
However, Veres did not give up and showed character. At a crucial moment, Lepkyi fouled Ihor Boychuk in his own penalty area, for which the referee awarded a penalty. Oleksandr Kharechko became the hero once again, confidently converting the spot kick.
