Sad news has once again shaken the Hoshcha community.

On February 27, 2026, the heart of Ukrainian Defender Ivan Viktorovych Pashkov, a resident of the village of Syniv, stopped beating. He was a loyal defender of his homeland.
In 2014, Ivan Viktorovych voluntarily went to the area of the anti-terrorist operation, and during the full-scale invasion of Russia, he continued to serve, remaining true to his oath and duties. He served in the assault brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.
The Defender will be welcomed with a living corridor on March 1 at 10:30 AM at Heroes of Maidan Square in the town of Hoshcha. This will be the final tribute to his courage and bravery.
Afterward, the funeral procession will head to the Church of St. Basil the Great, where the farewell will take place. The burial will be at the cemetery of the village of Syniv.
