Makari Svyatoslavovych Bulan has received another state award from the President of Ukraine for “Defending Ukraine.”

Makari is a graduate of Varash Lyceum No. 2 and obtained his vocational education at the Vocational Technical School of the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant. From 2018 to 2021, he served under contract in military unit 3045.
In March 2022, the warrior took up the defense of his homeland. As the commander of the gun in the 2nd artillery battery of the 115th separate mechanized brigade, Makari participated in battles in the hottest areas of the front, including Kurakhiv, Lyman, Avdiivka, Vuhledar, Siversk, Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk, and Kupiansk directions.
At just 27 years old, the warrior has repeatedly received commendations from the command for his conscientious performance of combat missions and was awarded the honorary “Golden Cross” by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
