Warrior Oleksandr Krupenya Returned Home After Captivity in Rivne Region

Oleksandr Krupenya, a resident of the village of Maly Mydsk in the Kostopil community, returned home after being freed from captivity. His fellow villagers welcomed the serviceman at the village school, where his three children study.

In 2014, Oleksandr Krupenya participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation, and with the onset of the full-scale invasion, he immediately took up arms to defend Ukraine, fighting in the Kupiansk direction of the front.

In December 2023, the family received news that the defender was missing in action, and later it was revealed that he was in captivity.

After his release, the man underwent rehabilitation in Truskavets and will now continue his treatment at the Klevan military hospital.
