On September 14 at 23:42, a man from the village of Kam’yane called emergency services, reporting that his 27-year-old wife was in labor. This was her third pregnancy, and she was at 39–40 weeks gestation.

An emergency medical team from the permanent station in Kam’yane, consisting of paramedic Hanna Solovey and emergency medical technician Leonid Burmaka, was dispatched to the call. The ambulance arrived at the scene at 23:53. After examining the pregnant woman, the medics transported her to the ambulance for further delivery to Rokytne Hospital.
However, after traveling about 30 km from the patient’s home, the woman began active labor right in the ambulance. Thanks to the high professionalism of the team, everything went smoothly, and a girl weighing about 3 kg was born.
The medics promptly examined both the mother and the newborn, providing the necessary assistance according to medical protocols. Both women were transported to the maternity ward in satisfactory condition.
