According to preliminary investigation data, the 16-year-old driver of the motorcycle “Geon”, a local resident, failed to maintain a safe speed, which led to a collision with a “Volkswagen Transporter”. This vehicle, driven by a 60-year-old resident of the town of Mlyniv, was making a left turn.
As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist sustained serious injuries: a closed fracture of the arm with displacement, bruises, wounds, and the smell of alcohol was detected. He was hospitalized for medical assistance.
Investigative authorities have initiated a pre-trial investigation to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.
