On February 18 at 07:39, the Rescue Service received a report of a fire in a residential building in the city of Dubno on Leontovych Street.

Emergency units from the 5th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Dubno were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, rescuers found heavy smoke coming from the building and immediately began extinguishing the fire.
During the reconnaissance, the body of a woman born in 1949 was discovered. Rescuers carried her out into the fresh air and handed her over to emergency medical personnel, who confirmed her death.
The fire was completely extinguished within two hours. The causes of the fire and the extent of the damage are being investigated.
Two fire trucks and eight rescuers were involved in extinguishing the fire.
