In Rivne region, two road traffic accidents involving motorcycles occurred over the past day.

Yesterday, around 6:00 PM, in Ostroh on Vyshensky Street, a 29-year-old scooter driver of a “Honda Tact” collided with a “Toyota Highlander” driven by a 50-year-old local resident while attempting to overtake.
As a result of the accident, the scooter driver sustained a leg fracture, and her 8-year-old daughter, who was a passenger, suffered a bruise and abrasions on her knee.
Another accident occurred at 8:35 PM in Rivne at the intersection of Soborna and Koroleva Streets. It was established that a 43-year-old woman, the driver of an “Opel,” failed to yield to a “Takke” motorcycle that was approaching.
The motorcyclist, a 21-year-old resident of the regional center, was hospitalized with a leg fracture, traumatic amputation of a finger, and a closed traumatic brain injury.
According to the examinations, all participants in the accidents were sober.
