Yuriy Kasyanov, a Ukrainian officer and drone expert who is a whistleblower in the case of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau regarding the company Fire Point, stated that he is currently at the assembly and transfer point of the 1st Border Detachment in the Rivne region.

It is worth noting that recently Kasyanov, who served in the State Border Guard Service unit, announced its disbandment. According to him, the responsibility for this decision lies with the head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak.
The military publicly appealed to the NABU for protection under the witness protection program.
“On October 2, I testified to NABU detectives. On the morning of October 3, the disbandment of the unit was announced. I ask NABU to provide protection for me and my family under the witness protection program,” Kasyanov wrote, noting that the decision to disband the unit was made personally by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Kasyanov mentioned that he tried to persuade the president to change his decision by negotiating with members of his team. He claims that his testimony contains information that pertains to the president himself.
“I left the president room for maneuver – I urged him to change his decision, I went to Maidan, and I only blamed Yermak. I fought for the consolidation of society around the figure of the president,” the military added.
Kasyanov is currently in conditions he described as “inhumane” and reported that he is not allowed to leave the barracks.
Andriy Demchenko, the spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service, responded to Kasyanov’s accusations, stating that the conditions at the assembly point meet the requirements.
“In this unit’s location, all necessary conditions for accommodation, living, and meals have been created. It is not a five-star hotel, but calling the conditions ‘inhumane’ is, in our opinion, intended to incite public outrage,” the State Border Guard Service noted.
Earlier, media reports indicated that Timur Mindich is a co-owner of the company Fire Point, which produces the FP-1 strike drones and “Flamingo” missiles.
