On the evening of September 17, in the village of Zastav’ya, on the premises of one of the farms, a 34-year-old local resident, while in a state of intoxication, fired a shot from a hunting rifle at the abdomen of his acquaintance, a 22-year-old resident of the village of Holyshev.

The suspect’s wife, who was nearby at the time, heard the gunshot and rushed home, from where she called for medical assistance. Unfortunately, the doctors who arrived at the scene confirmed the young man’s death.
Investigative authorities promptly detained the suspect and informed him of the suspicion of committing intentional murder.
Today, September 19, the court decided to impose a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of 60 days without the right to bail for the 34-year-old resident of the Rivne district.
