Eco-inspectors discovered pollution of water fund lands near a water body in the territory of the Klevan Village Council in Rivne Region.

The State Environmental Inspection reviewed a complaint received on the “hotline” regarding land pollution and potential contamination of the water body near the village of Mochulky in Rivne District.
During the inspection of the facts outlined in the complaint, inspectors confirmed the presence of litter in the area near the pond, which belongs to the water fund lands of the Klevan Village Council.
In particular, remnants of wood waste were found, as well as localized pollution of the shoreline with household waste.
The individual who violated environmental legislation regarding the use of water fund lands was held administratively liable under Article 53 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
