Cold weather with temperatures dropping to -30°C is forecasted in the Rivne region in the coming days. In connection with this, an emergency meeting of the regional Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies was held today.

Leaders of structural units of the regional state administration, districts, and services received appropriate instructions to mitigate the consequences of the adverse weather conditions.
Main Measures to Counter Adverse Weather
- Roads. Attention has been focused on sections of state highways that faced travel issues during the previous adverse weather.
- Resilience Points. Additional points will be deployed to assist citizens if necessary.
- Energy Resilience. All enterprises and organizations providing essential services should recheck the readiness of generators and the availability of fuel.
- Education. Communities should individually address the format of education.
