Farmers in Rivne Region Increased Cattle Population by 13%

Farming enterprises in the Rivne region maintain over 19 thousand head of cattle, of which nearly 9 thousand are cows.

Over the year, the population has increased by 13%, placing Rivne among the top three regions in Ukraine for this indicator.

From 2022 to 2025, the regional budget allocated 32 million hryvnias for the reimbursement of the cost of breeding animals. Additionally, this year, 7 agricultural enterprises received compensation for interest on loans totaling about half a million hryvnias. Another 4 farms received partial reimbursement for the purchase of modern equipment amounting to 1.5 million hryvnias.

In the last four years, milk production in the region has increased by 35%.
