Fire in a Residential Building in the Village of Babka, Rivne Region

On January 17 at 19:24, a report was received on the special line “101” about a fire in a residential building in the village of Babka, Varash district, on Pryvitna Street.

Emergency responders from the 12th State Fire and Rescue Unit in the city of Varash, as well as a fire truck from the local fire team in the village of Sopachiv, quickly arrived at the scene.

Upon arrival at the specified address, rescuers found that the flames had completely engulfed the roof of the building. Firefighters immediately began extinguishing the fire using firefighting agents.

The fire destroyed the roofing and ceilings of the residential building over an area of 50 square meters.

Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported. The causes of the fire and the extent of the material damage are currently being determined.

To extinguish the fire, 2 units of special equipment from the State Emergency Service and 5 rescuers were involved.
