The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a list of dangerous items and substances that are prohibited from being brought onto the premises of general secondary education institutions.

Among the prohibited items are firearms, pneumatic and cold weapons, as well as their imitations, such as models and replicas, ammunition, explosive and pyrotechnic items. Devices for firing rubber bullets, gas canisters, stun guns, special means, tools, flammable substances, narcotic and psychotropic substances, alcohol, tobacco and electronic cigarettes, as well as energy drinks are also banned.
At the same time, the decision does not apply to items used in the educational process, the institution’s economic activities, school museums, and during sports and educational events — provided there is oversight by responsible individuals.
This measure has been adopted to enhance the safety of all participants in the educational process and in accordance with the requirements of the law on implementing safety measures in general secondary education institutions.
