In the Rivne community, despite the signed order to start heating on October 14, most residents still do not feel warmth in their apartments.

Last week, heating was activated in secondary education institutions, including schools No. 16, 20, 26, 19, 23, 8, as well as in Sports School No. 3 and the school dormitory. Kindergartens No. 7, 40, 37, the Specialized Children’s Rehabilitation Center, and medical facilities also received heat.
However, not all hospitals in Rivne have adequate heating. For example, in the children’s clinic, the temperature in the offices only reaches 12 degrees.
Some schools and most apartment buildings still remain without heating. Heat has only been supplied to those buildings connected to solid fuel boilers, while gas boilers have not yet been activated.
RivneTeploEnergo noted that it will take a few days to start the gas boilers, as the meters need to be unsealed first. According to RadioTrek, some residents blame the heads of the homeowners’ associations for refusing to accept heat in order to save costs.
On the other hand, the heads of the homeowners’ associations complain about the utility services, claiming that the buildings are ready to accept heat, but it has not yet been supplied.
As of today, the heating tariff in Rivne is 3984.40 UAH per gigacalorie, but residents will pay 1913 UAH for one gigacalorie, thanks to the government’s moratorium.
