The accident occurred on December 14 at around 5:50 PM on Hrushevskyi Street in the village of Blazhevo, Rokytne community.

According to law enforcement information, the driver of the “BMW X-5” struck a 42-year-old local resident who was standing on the roadside near his property. After the accident, the driver left the scene.
As a result of the injuries sustained, the victim died at the scene.
Police quickly identified the driver, who turned out to be a 21-year-old resident of the village of Berezove. The vehicle indicated by witnesses was found on his property. However, the man himself was not located at his residence.
On December 16, the driver voluntarily came to the police and confessed to the crime.
Decisions are being made regarding notifying him of the suspicion and choosing a preventive measure.
