The road traffic accident occurred on October 20 at around 6:00 AM on the Kyiv-Chop highway, near the village of Berezina in the Hlybovytsia community.

According to preliminary data, a collision took place between a Lexus car and a parked Mercedes-Benz truck on the roadside.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the car, a 40-year-old resident of Lviv, died at the scene.
Currently, police are carrying out initial measures to determine the causes and circumstances of the collision.
It was later revealed that the deceased was Anton Kruk, the former head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Rivne region. He worked in Rivne until February 2024, after which he left the police force.
