Oleksiy Karasyov, born on March 2, 1988, in Rivne, attended the local 23rd school. After completing his secondary education, he joined the army, where he served as a senior scout.

In civilian life, he worked in construction and traveled to Poland for work.
Friends and family remembered Oleksiy as a kind and sincere person, always ready to help. Although his mother was born in Russia and his father in Belarus, Oleksiy always considered himself Ukrainian.
The man was mobilized into the Armed Forces in November 2024. The experience gained during his compulsory service allowed him to quickly adapt to military conditions.
At the beginning of this year, the soldier sustained multiple shrapnel wounds; however, he underwent rehabilitation and returned to his duties.
Unfortunately, 37-year-old soldier Oleksiy Karasyov was killed on October 6, 2025, during a battle with the occupiers in the Donetsk region. The only relative left to Oleksiy is his mother.
The farewell to Oleksiy Karasyov will take place on Tuesday, October 21, at 10:00 AM in Independence Square in Rivne. A memorial service will be held at the Holy Protection Cathedral, and the serviceman will be buried at the Alley of Heroes in the regional center.
