The Security Service of Ukraine, in collaboration with the Center for Counteracting Disinformation and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, has developed an important instruction for citizens to help them timely recognize terrorist threats and protect themselves.
This is reported by Rivne24
Among the main recommendations: do not approach abandoned items and do not attempt to check them yourself; categorically refuse to transfer, deliver, or store packages at the request of strangers; avoid communicating in messengers with unfamiliar individuals, especially those who offer money or easy earnings.
Recent events indicate that teenagers are becoming a priority target for the enemy due to their activity on social media. Therefore, it is important to explain to them why it is dangerous to communicate with strangers, share their personal data with unknown individuals, and publish personal information that could be used against them.
Law enforcement officials again emphasize that collaborating with the enemy, photographing and filming critical infrastructure objects, sharing data, or committing sabotage for “reward” are serious crimes against national security.
The developed instructions also provide emergency contact and assistance channels. The hotline for the Security Service of Ukraine: 0 800 501 482; email: [email protected]
If mobile communication is unavailable, it is recommended to connect to available Wi-Fi networks and contact emergency services through the 112 Ukraine app: mvs.gov.ua/112.
If you notice a traitor or suspicious activity, use the official SBU chatbot “Burn the FSB Agent”: @spaly_fsb_bot.
