Investigators, together with operatives from the Strategic Investigations Department and SBU employees, documented the illegal actions of a 49-year-old man from the Dubno district.

In July last year, the head of a farming enterprise approached the Dubno district council with a request to grant permission to purchase a land plot of nearly 20 hectares that she had rented.
Two months later, the head of the land resources department, along with an accomplice, offered the woman a reward to influence the deputies to make a positive decision regarding the sale of the plot.
In October, the local government body approved the sale of this land plot to the farming enterprise, after which the victim transferred them an agreed unlawful benefit of 2500 dollars.
The investigator informed the suspect of the charges under parts 2 of Article 28 and 2 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, concerning the receipt of unlawful benefits for the promise to influence the decision-making of authorized persons of local self-government, committed by a group of individuals in collusion.
The pre-trial investigation has been completed, and the materials of the criminal proceedings have been transferred to the court. The accused admits his guilt.
