Systematic Domestic Violence
Over the course of a year, police recorded six instances of domestic violence and submitted administrative materials for court review.

Law enforcement officials established that a 46-year-old resident of Rivne systematically engaged in psychological abuse against his 72-year-old mother. Whether sober or under the influence, the man demanded money from the woman, accompanying his demands with shouting, insults, and threats. Due to constant fear for her life, the woman was forced to leave her apartment.
Legal Consequences of Violence
Police, under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor’s office, informed the perpetrator of his suspicion for committing a crime under Article 126-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (domestic violence).
Investigators have completed the pre-trial investigation, and the materials of the criminal proceedings have already been submitted to the court.
Aggravating circumstances include the commission of the offense by a person in a state of alcohol intoxication and against an elderly individual. Mitigating circumstances include the genuine remorse of the accused.
