The police detained the suspect in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and placed him in a temporary detention facility.

Yesterday, January 13, around 3 PM, during a patrol on Vyshyvanka Street, the officers noticed a man who was behaving suspiciously and was clearly nervous. During a superficial check, a 36-year-old resident of the village of Kolodenka was found to have a combat grenade “F-1,” a fuse for it, and a training grenade “R-67” in his backpack.
Additionally, the offender also had devices for consuming narcotic substances.
The investigator has initiated a pre-trial investigation under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal handling of weapons, military supplies, or explosives) and Part 1 of Article 309 (illegal storage of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or their analogs).
The issue of notifying the suspect of the charges and choosing a preventive measure is being resolved.
