Roman Petrovych Trofymchuk, born on October 6, 1977, in the city of Rivne, began his education at the local school No. 23, where he studied until the 9th grade. After that, he continued his education at Rivne Vocational School No. 11 and then enrolled at Rivne State Humanities University, choosing psychology as his major. After completing his studies, Roman served in the ranks of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, where he rose from a regular employee to leadership positions.

He actively participated in the anti-terrorist operation in Donetsk, where he not only gained military experience but also learned to deeply value human lives and cope with loss.

After his resignation, Roman played the role of an ordinary man, focusing on work and family, but with the onset of Russia’s full-scale aggression, he could not remain on the sidelines. From the first days of the war, he was mobilized, initially as part of the Public Resistance Group, and later in the National Guard of Ukraine.

Unfortunately, Roman was killed in May 2024 while defending the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine in the combat zone in Donetsk.
