Nearly 300 World War Ammunition Destroyed in Rivne Region

On December 23, the pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service of Rivne region destroyed a 76 mm artillery shell found in the village of Horodysche on Rivne Street. This find dates back to the times of World War II.

Additionally, during excavation work in the town of Hoshcha on Soborna Street, a 152 mm artillery shell was discovered. Today, December 24, during an inspection, the pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service found another similar shell. Both dangerous finds were destroyed in a specially designated area.

Since the beginning of the year, pyrotechnics in Rivne region have destroyed 281 munitions left over from World War I and World War II.
