Sixteen territorial communities in the Rivne region have received modern rescue equipment, including generators, concrete saws, water pumps, and chainsaws.

This equipment was purchased as part of the Interreg NEXT Poland – Ukraine 2021–2027 program, which has a total budget of 552,000 euros.
There are 89 fire and rescue units operating in the Rivne region, including 32 volunteer units (of which 3 are safety centers) and 57 local units. In total, 366 firefighters work in these units.
