The fallen soldier from the Zdolbuniv community, Oleg Bednarchuk, has been posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.

The award was received by the soldier’s wife, Ivanna.
Oleg Bednarchuk, who volunteered in March 2022 to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, served as a mortar shooter. His challenging days were spent in areas of fierce combat.
On March 12, 2024, Senior Soldier Bednarchuk was mortally wounded during a combat mission near the settlement of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region as a result of enemy artillery shelling.
