Police in Lviv region have detained a 29-year-old resident of Rivne region who organized a channel for the illegal transportation of men to Moldova outside of border checkpoints.

The arrest occurred after the smuggler received 10 thousand dollars from a client. It became known that the man developed a scheme for the illegal transportation of conscripts to Moldova, discussing the details in person during meetings in Rivne.
According to his plan, the client was to be transported by car to the border, where he was supposed to cross the border zone on his own, after which he would be picked up by other individuals in Moldova.
The arrest took place on January 21 during the receipt of the specified sum of money. The 29-year-old resident of Rivne region has been charged with facilitating illegal transportation across the state border (part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The court has ordered him to be held in custody with the possibility of posting bail.
