The men valued their services at 16 thousand dollars. The penalty under the article provides for 7 to 9 years of imprisonment.

Police established that on February 14, a 32-year-old resident of the village of Lyudyn Sarny district arrived at a pre-arranged location in his own vehicle. There, he was met by two men of conscription age, whom he took to the residential house of his acquaintances for the night.
The next day, the perpetrator, along with a 38-year-old accomplice, transported the men of mobilization age to the border in the latter’s vehicle and then on foot. However, after receiving the money, they were caught by the police and border guards.
The 38-year-old and 32-year-old residents of Sarny were detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and placed in a temporary detention facility. The younger of the two had a firearm seized by the police.
Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor’s office, both individuals have been charged with committing a crime under part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (organizing the illegal transportation of individuals across the state border of Ukraine, leading such actions, assisting their commission through advice, instructions, providing means, and removing obstacles, committed against several individuals, by prior agreement of a group of individuals, for mercenary motives).
The court has chosen preventive measures for both individuals in the form of detention for a period of 60 days with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of 672,256 hryvnias each. The bail was posted by the 38-year-old man, while the 32-year-old accomplice is currently in the detention center.
Additionally, law enforcement has initiated a pre-trial investigation under part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
