Prices for Goods and Services in Rivne Region Increased in October 2025

In October 2025, the consumer market in the Rivne region saw an increase in prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages by 1.9%.

The largest price increase was observed in vegetables, which rose by 17.1%. Prices for eggs, lard, sunflower oil, chocolate, butter, fruits, processed grain products, sour cream and cream, dairy products, pork, poultry, fish and fish products, cheeses, beef, margarine and other vegetable fats, rice, flour-based confectionery, bread, and sugar-based confectionery increased by 5.4% to 0.8%. At the same time, prices for sugar, pasta, non-alcoholic beverages, and milk decreased by 2.6% to 0.2%.

Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products also increased by 1.4%, attributed to a 1.7% rise in prices for alcoholic beverages and a 1.2% rise for tobacco products.

Transportation costs overall increased by 2.1% due to a 9.2% rise in the cost of road passenger transport. Specifically, fares for public transport increased by 1.6 times, while fares for route taxis rose by 1.5 times.

The increase in tariffs for housing, water, electricity, gas, and other types of fuel by 0.7% was primarily due to a 32.8% rise in tariffs for cleaning and waste disposal services.

Clothing and footwear prices increased by 0.6%, with clothing rising by 0.4% and footwear by 0.6%.

Education services overall increased by 0.7%, with secondary education rising by 6.4%.

In the healthcare sector, prices increased by 0.6% due to a 0.9% rise in outpatient services, a 0.6% increase in pharmaceutical products, medical goods and equipment, and a 0.5% rise in hospital services.

The increase in prices for household items and appliances by 0.3% was due to a 2.1% rise in household textiles, a 1.2% increase in furniture and furnishings, carpets, and other types of coverings, as well as a 0.2% rise in household appliances.
