At night in the Rivne region, patrol police stopped a BMW vehicle for violating traffic rules. The driver’s suspicious behavior raised concerns among law enforcement, prompting them to conduct a superficial check of the person and the vehicle.

During the inspection, an automatic rifle, a pistol, ammunition, a grenade, and bags containing substances that may be narcotic drugs were found in the car.
Explosives experts and an investigative team were called to the scene. The seized items were sent for examination.
Investigators have already entered information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations (URPTI) under the following articles:
- Part 1 of Article 263 (Illegal carrying, storage, acquisition, transfer, or sale of firearms, ammunition, explosives, or explosive devices without the required legal permission) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine;
- Part 1 of Article 309 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, or mailing of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or their analogs without the intent to sell) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Additionally, the driver received an administrative penalty for violating traffic rules.
