Rescuers in Rivne Region Address Consequences of Severe Weather: Six Responses to Calls

As of today, specialists from the Rescue Service of the Rivne region have already responded six times to clear roads and areas of fallen trees, a result of strong gusts of wind.

This is reported by Rivne24

The severe weather that hit Rivne on April 26 led to various dangerous situations.

Within a few hours, rescuers promptly responded to calls from different corners of the region. Trees fell onto roadways, completely or partially blocking traffic, creating a risk of accidents and hindering the passage of emergency services.

In residential areas, there were also instances of trees falling on parked cars. Rescuers took all possible measures to carefully free the vehicles from the heavy trunks.

Thanks to the use of chainsaws and other specialized equipment, the emergency service personnel quickly cut through the fallen trees and removed branches, clearing the paths.
