Rivne to Bid Farewell to Fallen Defender Oleksandr Tsymbal

Oleksandr Tsymbal was born on January 29, 1980, in the city of Sumy. He later lived and studied in Bilopillia, near the border with Russia.

He worked in construction in Kyiv, and after the onset of the full-scale invasion, he moved to Rivne with his wife. Here, Oleksandr found a new job in the road service.

In September of last year, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he trained as a machine gunner.

In civilian life, Oleksandr was interested in cars and technology, and he actively engaged in household management. He was a fair and kind man, who treated his family and comrades with respect.

Unfortunately, 44-year-old soldier Oleksandr Tsymbal was killed on November 28, 2024, while performing a combat mission in the Donetsk region. It was only recently that his body was identified and returned to his family for a dignified burial.

The farewell to Oleksandr Tsymbal will take place on Monday, October 27, at 10:00 AM in Independence Square in Rivne. A memorial service will be held at the Holy Protection Cathedral, and the soldier’s burial will take place at the Alley of Heroes in the regional center.
