Rivne Customs: Over 500 Violations Worth 53 Million Hryvnias in 2025

In 2025, employees of the Rivne Customs detected 508 violations of customs regulations, with a total value of 53 million hryvnias. In 23 cases, goods and items related to the violations were seized, amounting to 5 million hryvnias.

  • industrial goods – 35.2 million hryvnias;
  • scrap metal – 6.4 million hryvnias;
  • agricultural products – 5.1 million hryvnias;
  • vehicles – 5.2 million hryvnias;
  • timber – 1 million hryvnias;
  • food products – 27 thousand hryvnias.

Among the most common customs violations were:

  • unlawful exemption from customs duties or reduction of their amount;
  • smuggling goods across the customs border of Ukraine while concealing them from customs control;
  • non-declaration of goods by citizens.
