The post states that the administration of the Rivne City Council maternity hospital was concerned about the serious condition of the new mother and possible instances of child abuse.
“Thanks to the work of the Child Affairs Service of the Executive Committee of the Rivne City Council and the Rivne City Social Services Center, it was possible to take the newborn from the mother, who is in a severe postpartum condition,” the message noted.
Center specialists indicated that during their visit to the new mother, they discovered unsanitary living conditions. According to them, the woman admitted that the baby’s crying greatly irritates her, and it also turned out that she is not taking care of her first child.
“The Center specialists will try to provide qualified assistance to the woman, who is likely in a severe psychological state and, according to her partner, abuses alcoholic beverages,” the message stated.
