The Rivne NPP has received modern mobile decontamination units for personnel as part of humanitarian assistance from the IAEA.
This is reported by Rivne24
These mobile complexes are designed for the sanitary treatment of workers in cases of radiation, chemical, or biological contamination. In the event of an emergency, these units can be quickly deployed on-site and provide a complete decontamination cycle.
Each complex is fully autonomous and equipped with power supply systems, water heating, heating, and the provision of washing solutions. This allows it to be used in any location with a solid surface, regardless of the availability of external networks.
The design includes the organization of people flows – separately for men and women, as well as a special line for individuals with limited mobility, who are transported on stretchers using a conveyor system.
At the Rivne NPP site, personnel have already undergone training on the deployment processes of the complex and the algorithms for conducting decontamination.
