An emergency situation occurred in Rivne, according to Rivneteploenergo.
This is reported by Rivne24
Recently, the boiler on Kyivska Street, 6 was shut down. The reason for the shutdown was a sharp drop in pressure in the network due to a coolant leak that occurred as a result of a break in the internal building network.
As a result, the supply of coolant was cut off along the branch of the network towards Soborna Street. The following buildings were left without heating:
- Soborna Street: 1, 3, 4a, 5, 7, 9, 14, 14a;
- Princess Olga Street: 3 and 4;
- Solomiya Krushelnytska Street: 69, 73, 75, 77;
- Additionally, the college, NUWGP, RDGU, the Ministry of Internal Affairs outpatient clinic, and the city council were also left without heating.
The search for the network break and leak continued until 11:00. A break was found in the internal heating supply system in a residential building at 69 Krushelnytska Street (2nd entrance). After the break was repaired, the re-ignition of the boiler lasted until 14:00.
During this time, residents of the entire district remained without heat, and the company incurred losses of tens of thousands of hryvnias.
The agency noted that this situation could have been avoided if preparatory work for the heating season had been conducted in the building at 69 Krushelnytska Street during the summer.
As a reminder, as of today, only 121 out of 809 buildings serviced by the company have received readiness certificates.
