Evacuated citizens continue to arrive in the Rivne region, seeking safety and support.
This is reported by Rivne24
From August to December 2025, 2,494 individuals arrived in Rivne. Some of them traveled by evacuation trains: during this period, the region received 38 trains from Donetsk, bringing 532 people.
Moreover, monitoring data indicates that the majority of newcomers over the past six months—more than 1,900 individuals—arrived in the region independently, without prior assistance, which significantly complicates their adaptation in the new location.
Housing people in remote settlements remains a particular challenge. For 717 individuals, geographical remoteness limits access to social, medical, and psychosocial services.
Among the newcomers in the last six months are 477 people aged 60 and over and 198 individuals with disabilities.
