A property complex of the communal enterprise Dubno, covering over 1300 square meters and valued at 38 million hryvnias, has been returned in Rivne Region. The complex, which includes premises, transport, equipment, and machinery, was leased to a private company in 2019.
This is reported by Rivne24
The lease agreement ended in September 2025, but the tenant did not return the property, continuing its use without legal grounds.
According to new changes in legislation, lease agreements no longer automatically renew and require an auction to proceed. In this case, an auction was not organized, which led to the intervention of the prosecutor’s office.
To restore the community’s rights to manage its property, prosecutors from the Dubno District Prosecutor’s Office filed a lawsuit. The Economic Court of Rivne Region supported their claims and ordered the company to return the property complex to the Dubno City Council.
After the actual return of the property and a new valuation, the object will be leased through open bidding. This will allow for an increase in the rental fee compared to the previous one, positively impacting local budget revenues.
