Rescuers urge citizens to approach the decoration of the Christmas tree responsibly, using only certified electric garlands. They stress the necessity of not leaving them on unattended and completely refraining from using pyrotechnics.
“I remind you that there is a strict ban on the use of any pyrotechnics in the Rivne region — firecrackers, fireworks, sparklers, and other explosive devices. Their use can lead to fires, injuries, and in some cases, fatalities. Moreover, loud explosions pose a serious psychological danger to people and animals, especially in wartime conditions,” noted Andriy Nesterenko.
Additionally, residents of the region are advised to avoid mass events and crowded places to ensure personal safety.
