A court process has begun in Rivne against the director of a municipal enterprise, who is accused of submitting false information in their declaration.

According to the investigation, the official knowingly provided inaccurate information in the declaration for a person authorized to perform state or local government functions for the year 2022.
In particular, the declaration did not mention the existence of a house in the regional center, which has an area exceeding 400 square meters and is valued at over 8 million hryvnias. Additionally, the financial obligations of the director’s wife amounting to over 4.6 million hryvnias were also not disclosed.
The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators from the Rivne Regional Police with the support of operatives from the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police of Ukraine.
According to the article’s sanction, the maximum penalty for the specified actions may be up to 2 years of imprisonment, with a possible prohibition on holding certain positions or engaging in specific activities for up to 3 years.
