The president of the basketball club “Rivne,” Sergiy Lishchuk, announced his departure from the position of vice president of the Basketball Federation of Ukraine, particularly in the area of youth basketball development.

In his address, Lishchuk stated: “I love basketball; I returned to Ukraine to develop this sport. But what I see today leaves me no choice.
In my role as vice president, I was not perfect; I could not accomplish many things, and I take responsibility for that. The time has come to conclude my work, and I hope someone will do it better. Thank you all.
Guys, thank you for your character, for the victory,” Lishchuk expressed his gratitude to the team after their win over “Hoverla” in the quarter-finals of the Super League while commenting on this decision.
