With deep sorrow, we announce the loss of 32-year-old soldier Mykhailo Kharechko, a resident of the village of Krychylsk in the Sarny community.

In civilian life, Mykhailo was a vibrant and energetic individual, working as a laborer, repairing and creating comfort for others. He was passionate about football, valued friendship, and cherished family comfort. His sincerity, optimism, and openness left warmth in the hearts of those who knew him, and his love for life inspired everyone around him.
In the summer of 2025, Mykhailo decided to defend Ukraine — he was mobilized to the Separate Presidential Brigade named after Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky, where he received the call sign “Firefighter.” Together with his brother Vasyl, he went through the most dangerous moments at the front, experiencing the joy of victories and shared anxieties. Their brotherly courage and mutual support became an example of true combat brotherhood, and the memories of these moments will forever remain in the hearts of his comrades.
On December 9, 2025, Mykhailo was killed as a result of an enemy drone strike in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The farewell and burial will take place tomorrow, December 17. At 10:00 AM, the cortege will begin its route through the city: Kostopilska — Varshavska — Ivanivka — Krychylsk.
At 11:00 AM, there will be a gathering at the entrance to the village (near the cross).
At 11:15 AM — farewell at home (Shevchenka St., 438).
At 1:15 PM — burial at the local cemetery.
