Two Residents of Rivne Region Compete for the ‘Klym Savur Cross’ Award

Two residents of Rivne region are competing for the ‘Klym Savur Cross’ award.

The first candidate is Viktor Yuzepchuk, a pediatric orthopedic traumatologist at the Rivne Regional Children’s Hospital. For over 42 years, he has dedicated his life to helping children. Since the beginning of the war, Yuzepchuk has been actively traveling to Donetsk and Luhansk regions, where he provided assistance to civilians and military personnel. Thanks to his work, hundreds of defenders have saved their limbs.

The second candidate is Major Volodymyr Kulai, commander of the anti-aircraft missile division in the 155th Separate Motorized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. His command describes him as a soldier who is highly respected among his comrades and unit commanders.

“The Klym Savur Cross” is awarded in case of collegial support from the deputies of the Rivne Regional Council. The new award has already been granted and presented to defenders Oleksandr Tymoshchuk, Vasyl Yashchuk, Taras Derkach, and Valentyn Derelo. A monetary prize of 25,000 UAH is also included with the award.
