Ostroh Academy students Roman Mychka and Anna Krystych presented their innovative product at the IV International Hackathon FRESH AIR 2026 in Odesa, where their team won third place.

Roman and his partner analyzed a number of problems existing in the agricultural sector, particularly labor shortages and high costs. As a result, they developed a technological assistant:
“Our solution is the creation of a ground drone that can precisely treat fields in specific areas, applying fertilizers to particular plots without spraying the entire field. This will positively impact product quality, the environment, and help save costs,” noted one of the developers.
The project is currently at the stage of a fully functional prototype, which requires further improvement. The developers are second-year students in the educational program “Robotics and Machine Learning” at the National University of Ostroh Academy, which funded their work.
